I am unable to publish the most recent iteration of my webapp in Figma Make. I can see it but any time I publish it, it’s an older version of the app. I have tried duplicating and publishing, clearing my cache, and browsing on incognito. I can’t seem to find the problem and need help!

Hey, you’re not alone—this happens with Figma Make more often than it should
Here are a few things you can try that usually fix it:

  1. Make sure you’re exporting the correct frame/version
If you duplicated screens or are working inside a component, Figma Make may still be linked to an older frame. Double-check the selected frame before exporting.

  2. Publish components & libraries
If your app uses shared components, click Assets → Library → Publish changes. Unpublished updates won’t export correctly.

  3. Clear cache / restart Figma
Close Figma completely (desktop or browser), reopen it, and try exporting again. Cached previews can cause outdated exports.

  4. Check auto-layout & constraints
Sometimes layout changes don’t render unless constraints are properly set. Try nudging an element slightly, undoing it, then exporting again to force a refresh.

  5. Duplicate the frame and export the copy
This sounds weird, but it works. Duplicate the updated screen and export the duplicated version instead.

  6. Confirm Figma Make version
If you’re using Figma Make beta, bugs do happen. Make sure you’re on the latest version, or switch back to a stable export if possible.

If none of that works, posting screenshots of your layer panel + export settings usually helps others spot the issue fast. Hope this saves you some frustration
