For a long time, when pasting a Figma link in slack you would get a preview of the design project.
It wasn’t great because even if you pasted a link to a specific frame in Figma, the preview in Slack displayed a preview of the entire project. So usually I ended up deleting the preview, because it was messy and pointless.
Then! A miracle!
Just the other day (week?) Figma link previews in Slack worked better, and displayed a preview of the specific frame, which made it 1000% more useful.
Then! Tragedy.
As quickly as it appeared, the entire Figma link preview feature in Slack has gone away (for me at least). I don’t think there’s any integration on the Slack side that could be missing or misconfigured, so my guess is there’s something different about what Figma returns when Slack queries the link.
Are Slack link previews working for others?
