I’m using the web app for my macbook. I’ve waited a day already, restarted my computer. Yes, my mode is on the right mode. Everything’s checked, I just can’t move it.

When I used the website, I can. Take note, the app is upgraded.

The thing about the website is when it comes to expanding the “pages section” (the section on the left panel), I can’t expand them.

What’s happening!!!! I have a presentation in a bit and it’s important

Hey @Irish Isip , sorry to hear this is happening right before your presentation!

Since the web version seems to be working for you, I'd suggest using the browser version for now to get through your presentation while we investigate the desktop app issue.

For the desktop app, here are a few quick things to try:

  1. Force quit and relaunch the Figma desktop app completely
  2. Clear the app cache.
    On Mac:
go to Figma menu → Help → Select ‘Troubleshooting > Reset Figma and Restart’.

On Windows: You can access the Help menu from the toolbar at the top of your screen.
    1. Click the  toggle arrow in the toolbar at the top right of your screen
    2. Go to Help > Troubleshooting > Reset Figma and Restart

You can follow the steps in this article.

  3. Check for updates — to double check you're on the latest version of the desktop app

For the web version issue with the pages panel not expanding, try:

  • Hard refresh the page with Cmd + Shift + R
  • Try in an incognito window to rule out any browser extension conflicts

If the issue persists after your presentation, I'd recommend submitting a bug report so our team can investigate further. Go to the Support Hub / Type “Report a bug” / Click Start a chat, select Enter and follow the prompts.
In the form, include the URL of the file and grant "Can View" access with support-share@figma.com, and your OS specs. This allows us to reproduce the issue and investigate.
Good luck with your presentation!
