Figma is not working for my account

Hello,

I’m experiencing an issue where Figma is not creating or loading any files. The problem started yesterday, and I’m not sure how to resolve it.

I’ve already tried the following:

  • Reinstalling the Figma desktop app

  • Opening Figma in the web version using different browsers

  • Logging out and logging back into my account

Unfortunately, none of these steps have helped.

I went to check, and everything should be on the up and up. Are you still encountering this issue? I appreciate you taking the time to troubleshoot — it’s helpful to know this is happening in both versions of the app.

Could you share any error messages you’re seeing or provide more details on the unexpected behavior (e.g. does the page time out or show a blank screen)? A short video of the issue in action can also be really helpful if possible.

If that doesn’t resolve things, and you’ve confirmed your device meets the system requirements, please let me know your device type and web browser. With that, I’ll continue to test on my end and potentially loop in a team member to take a deeper look.

Hello Tom,

Thanks for your response. I’m not sure what changed, but everything appears to be working correctly now.

For reference, the error I was seeing in the Figma Desktop app was error code -106. The message suggested reaching out to help.figma.com or similar support resources.

At the moment, the issue seems to be resolved. If it happens again in the future, I’ll reach out.
