Figma randomly becoming unresponsive during the day for the last 3 months.
It only works in a browser with a vpn enabled.
Then, suddenly it starts working again after a few hours, with no changes in my network/laptop settings.
I getting message "Something went wrong! Loading chunk 905 failed. (timeout: https://www.figma.com/webpack-artifacts/assets/svg-fd6dec7c00c34cfb.min.js.br)".

    Hi @Kostiantyn_Ishchenko

I understand that you’re experiencing unstable access to Figma through the Figma Desktop app.

Thank you for confirming that the browser version works when VPN is enabled and for sharing the error message.

I looked into the specific error message you mentioned, but I wasn’t able to find documentation directly related to that exact message.

You may want to review the following Help Center article in case it’s relevant: Error 404 when loading Figma files

I know you haven’t changed your network settings. However, in general, if you're using the desktop app behind a firewall, proxy, or VPN, access may be restricted. In that case, you have two options:

    • Use Figma in a supported browser instead.
    • Ask your IT department or system administrator to ensure that Port 443 is unblocked and that *.figma.com is allowlisted.

You can also refer to these articles for additional guidance:

    Connection or server error 403

    Check your network settings

    Additionally, could you please confirm:

    • Is this issue happening with a specific file, or across all your files?
    • Have you tried connecting from a different network (for example, using a mobile hotspot) to see if the issue persists?

If the issue continues after trying the steps above, I recommend submitting a bug report via Contact support from the (?) icon on any page in Figma. The chatbot will guide you through opening a report so our team can investigate further and assist you directly.

You can also refer to this guide for what to include in your report: What to share in a bug report to Figma Support

    Thanks,
