Figma is lagging while working with friend (real-time collaboration)

😥 I have a problem: I can’t work well with my teammate cuz it's so laggy when we're working on the same project, but when someone closes the project, Figma just goes back to normal for the other one who's still in the project. Is there any method to solve this issue ?

I have the same problem, I cannot work if someone else is in the same file

To better understand what you’re experiencing, could you share a few more details? It would be helpful to know:

  1. Is this happening in the desktop app, the browser, or both?

  2. Are all collaborators seeing the same lag, or only you?

  3. Does it happen across all your files or just one in particular? And have any memory alerts popped up in that file?

  4. Have you noticed any difference when using a different network or connection?

  1. It’s happening on both, i’ve tried various kinds of browser and the problem still happen
  2. I asked them, and they say no. no problem on their side
  3. It happens on several files, not all. there’s no memory alerts
  4. haven’t tried it, but my device connected directly to the router via ethernet cable, i think there’s no reason to try it with wifi. but i will try to use mobile data and see if the problem still occur

    i doubt it is performance issue because all other app work perfectly well, i also doubt it is connection issue either because all other internet activity work perfectly well
