Figma is behaving weird

Issues Now a days i am facing are:

  • Connecting prototype Links 
    • Not able to connect interaction by doing just small drag and drop. I have to go to prototye section there i have select interaction first and the again come back to button component to link with another screen.
       
  • Copy Paste Issue: 
    • While Copy pasting 1 component from 1 project to another project page all assest are getting invisible. 
      See attached Screen


      All this are happening from last 2-3 updates.

Connecting prototype links

Just to be extra clear, by drag-and-drop you mean you click the + on the side of a layer and then drag the arrow to another layer? I just did a quick test between two layers in a test file and this worked normally for me. My steps were: 1. Select a layer, 2. Go to the Prototype tab on the properties panel to the right, and 3. Click the + button on the right side of the layer and drag it to a different layer.

 

Copy/Paste component issue

That’s pretty weird looking in your screenshot. Were the components you copied created within the originating file, or did they come from a separate library? I did a quick test by creating a layer, adding an image fill, converting it to a component, and then copy/pasting to a new file and it worked.
