Hey there.

I was trying to create a new topic and I was searching if there is already similar topic or not. I realized the search will always result an empty set. I’ve tried multiple different words to make sure that It’s always empty (try scroll, there are already many topics containing this word but the search result is empty now)

Hey ​@Armin_Rouhanian - apologies for the bad search experience. While I’ve never personally seen this behavior before, I want to learn more so I can check in with the forum management team.Could I get some clarification first?

When you say ‘empty set’, are you referring to the drop down list that auto-suggests topics before you run a full search? Like you can see results there, but if you hit enter to run a full search, that page comes up empty? Apologies if that was confusing or if I misunderstood.

Can you try clear cache and cookies for the forum.figma.com URL specifically? If that doesn’t seem to help, can you grab a scree recording that shows how the searches are appearing for you?

Hey ​@ksn . I tried to reproduce the problem again but it seems fine now.

The problem lasted like 30 minutes. Both dropdown (auto-suggest) and the final result (after hitting the enter button) were empty during that time period. I’m not sure what was the problem, I know it wasn’t a network connection problem, and I tried with on a couple of devices. also other part of the website worked as it supposed while I was trying before. All I know is that it is working as usual now.

I’ll make sure to record the problem in case of occurring again.
