I have a few updates on this. As of May 20, 2026, First Draft transitioned to Figma agent, which offers a more powerful way to explore, iterate, and refine designs. The agent is currently in beta and rolling out gradually to users on Professional, Organization, and Enterprise plans.
When your account is included in the rollout, you'll receive an email and see an Agents icon in the left sidebar of Figma Design. In the meantime, you can join the waitlist to express your interest: figma.com/join-waitlist.
A couple of things to keep in mind:
- The agent is available to Full seats in all files, and to Collab/Dev seats in Draft files only.
- If AI features have been disabled for your team or organization by an admin, the agent won't appear even after rollout is completed.
