figma file exported as SVG containing mask not showing up properly in illustrator

ok so I've made this pink and red logo with lines shooting out of the sides, all in figma. I used masks to create the finished look. When I export as PNG it works, but when I export as SVG to add to illustrator it does not work and instead the lines don't show up and only the mask show's, here is a screenshot of what I mean in illustrator

when I try flattening the image the lines become black and the mask section fills out in that reddish color, which is definitively not what I'm trying to accomplish

Any help would be greatly appreciated
