for some time now my exports from Figma look noticeably blurry/pixelated.
The canvas preview looks perfectly sharp, but the exported PNG/JPG does not.
This happens across different files and export sizes (e.g. 1200×628, social assets).
Has anyone experienced this recently? Could this be a rendering or export bug?

Were you able to solve this? It is usually a sub-pixel positioning thing even when the canvas looks sharp.
Two things I check first: select everything and run Round to Pixel; elements drift to positions like 100.3px through auto layout and nudging. And check the frames too, not just layers inside them; a frame at 199.8px wide will blur everything in it. Fractional auto layout gaps and padding do the same thing quietly.
The love for multiples of 8 and grids stopped feeling mysterious once I figured these tidbits out.
