Figma error when updating design files - "Something went wrong"

This happens when I do update all .. the update works when I update each component one by one. I’ve got 100 components that needs to be updated how do you expect to go about by work now?? Figma is getting unusable day by day. If this keeps happening then we will have to look for other options that fits our design process in our org!!!

Hey ​@pixeldada, thanks for reaching out! Having to update 100 components one at a time isn't how this is supposed to work.

A few things worth trying to help narrow this down:

1. Refresh the file, then open the Libraries icon at the bottom of the left navigation bar (it'll show a blue badge when updates are available), go to the Updates tab, and try Update all again.
2. Turn off Show updates for all pages so the Updates tab only shows the current page, then run Update all page by page instead of for the whole file at once. Updating in smaller batches sometimes succeeds where one big update doesn't.
3. If you normally use the desktop app, try the browser version (or vice versa) to see if the error follows you.
4. Check whether this happens in every file connected to this library, or just this one.

If the error still shows up even when updating page by page, or you can narrow it down to this one file, I'd want to take a closer look at the file itself. I can't do that here on the forum for security reasons, so could you open a ticket through our Support Hub with all the information you find from the steps above?
