Figma Education verification – School email restricted by administrator

Hello Figma Education Team!

I'm a 17-year-old high school student from Brazil, currently studying at CETEP-RM, a public technical school in Bahia.

I'm interested in learning UI/UX design and using Figma for educational purposes, including personal design projects.

Unfortunately, my school-issued Google account has restrictions imposed by the school administrator, which prevent me from completing the standard verification process.

Is there an alternative way to verify my student status, such as providing proof of enrollment or an official school document?

I would really appreciate your guidance.

    I’m sorry your school account restrictions are getting in the way. For high school students, verifying your education status requires a school-issued email address, and we’re not able to accept proof of enrollment or school documents instead.

    Since the restrictions are set by your school, the best next step is to ask a teacher or your school administrator about it. They can also submit an application for your school at figma.com/education/k-12, which may open up access for you.

    Once you can sign in to Figma with your school email, you can apply at figma.com/education/apply and select ‘High school’ as the institution type. You’ll find the full requirements in Figma for Education.
