Figma Education Reverification still hasn't worked

Hi, 

I've been a user of Figma's education plan for a few years now and was prompted to reverify my account a few months ago. I followed the instructions that were sent to me via email to reverify my account and it seemed to work, yet my student account still reverted back to a basic plan. I've been trying to reverify my account again, but I keep getting an error that says "student verification limit exceeded."

I contacted SheerID already and they confirmed that I was approved for the education plan on their end. I contacted Figma education (education@figma.com) about this issue weeks ago and still have not gotten a response after multiple follow ups. 

Is there anyone that could help get me my education plan back?

Hey ​@Nandini Sharma — welcome to Figma Forum, and thanks for sharing the details of what you’ve run into. I appreciate you checking in with SheerID before posting here. That context really helps.

While I can’t view or adjust account settings from the public forum side, it does sound like your next step may be to reactivate your setup by following these instructions: Figma for Education → Create, upgrade, or join a team → To upgrade an existing team. When you have a minute, could you try walking through those steps and let me know if anything changes on your end?

I also checked in on your case, and I can confirm it’s with our Education Team and currently under review. Your ticket number is: 1598614. I’ve made sure your update here is noted so they have the full picture as they continue their review. We’ll make sure this gets sorted out.

Hi Tom, 

Thanks for the quick response. I’m trying to follow the instruction you linked, however when I try to upgrade my team, I don’t get the option to select an education plan. I only see professional and organization.
