Hi everyone,
I'm having an issue with the Figma Desktop app on Windows 10.
When I launch Figma Desktop, the Figma logo appears for a few seconds, then the application closes. The same issue also happens with Figma Desktop Beta.
My system specifications:
-
Windows 10 22H2 (Build 19045.6466), 64-bit
-
Intel Core i7-3770 @ 3.40 GHz
-
16 GB RAM
-
Intel HD Graphics 4000
-
Graphics driver: 10.18.10.5161
Figma works normally in Chrome, so the problem only occurs with the Desktop app.
I also checked WebGL in Chrome using WebGL Report:
-
WebGL 1: Supported
-
Renderer: Intel HD Graphics 4000
-
ANGLE: D3D11
-
Antialiasing: Available
-
Major Performance Caveat: No
I ran Figma.exe from Command Prompt and found these errors:
"GPU process exited unexpectedly"
"The GPU process has crashed multiple times"
"GPU process isn't usable. Goodbye"
I have also tried:
-
Reinstalling Figma
-
Figma Desktop Beta
-
Running Figma with --disable-gpu
-
Running Figma with --use-gl=swiftshader
Interestingly, using SwiftShader can make the Figma window appear, but the window is completely blank.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue with Intel HD Graphics 4000 or an older Intel GPU?
Is there any workaround to make the Figma Desktop app work?
Thanks!
