Figma Community Bug (org upgrade unlinked published files)

Howdy Figma community,

Recently our team published two free design resources that have had significant traction in the design community (10K+ views, 6K+ Usages, and 500+ Saves)

We recently upgraded from a team to an organization. Even though the files still exist, all of a sudden they've been entirely deleted and removed from our community profile. I'm concerned because clearly the design community is loving and using these resources. On top of that, across all of our website and digital assets, we link to these resources and now they all have 404 errors.

Here is the relevant data for each resources…

  1. OS Brand Design System
Figma Link + Broken Community Link

  2. Portfolio Presentation Template | Built to Land Offers (Community)
    - Figma Link + Broken Community Link

Ideally if we could restore the connection and statistics to our community or profile, that would be great. It would be even better if we could keep the previous broken URLs but if we need to change those, no problem. I submitted support ticket 1996632 and haven't heard back in over a week 😬

Hey @open session 👋 I’m sorry this happened. Thanks for the ticket ID, very helpful. I increased the priority and flagged the ticket internally to help get things moving forward. I’ll keep an eye on things as well. Talk soon! — Jaycee

Just giving a quick update for the community @Jaycee Lewis

I did hear back from support but the fix did not work.  I was told to republish in incognito mode but ran into two issues.

  1. My community handle is @opensession but when I try to publish, it won't let me claim this handle.
  2. When trying to upload incognito, I receive a 400 error saying that the asset is already published.

In the past week we've had another 200 designers request this resource. It's a shame that it's down and I am building up a massive backlog of people to communicate with on the status :(

Current Community profile handle

BUG - figma community handle not linked to org or team

BUG - figma 400 upload error for non existing “published file”

Hi, @open session 🙌 Sorry to hear this is still happening and you continue to be blocked. I also see you responded to the support ticket and added your additional details. I took this back to my resources to keep the urgency high for you. I’ll keep an eye on this one for us too. — Jaycee
