Has anyone tried to publish a Figma Buzz template? Personally I have no feedback to the click on "Publish" button on the “Publish your brand template” modal, and I can’t find my template anywhere.

Has anyone experienced the same issue?

I get the same thing - Any progress on this?

I understand you're clicking the "Publish" button on the "Publish on your brand template" modal, but nothing's happening. That sounds frustrating.

We just gave it a shot on our end, and we were able to publish Figma Buzz templates without any issues.

 

Just to cover the basics, could you try these quick fixes and then try publishing your template again?

  • Close any Figma tabs you're not currently using.
    • Browser: Completely close your browser and then open Figma in a new window.
    • Desktop App: Completely close the Figma Desktop app and then restart it.

If you're still having trouble after that, could you let us know a few more things so we can get a clearer picture?

  1. Are you using the Figma desktop app or accessing Figma through a browser?
  2. Is anyone else on your team running into the same issue?
  3. If there's an error message popping up, could you share exactly what it says?

Also, if you could share a quick recording of what you're seeing on your screen, that would be super helpful! That way, we can get you connected with the right team if needed.

We have the same issue with all templates regardless if figjam or buzz:
 

  • Prior Config2025 published Templates do not appear in Org any more
  • Cannot publish new ones either
  • “Unpublish” and “Publish Changes” on Rightclick do not respond
    • tested web / macOS App / reset figma / different browsers / …
  • my Published templates just appear for me and noone else - but without thumbnails and they can’t be restored
  • we already rechecked permissions and also created a new team without result

 

We did not change anything that can explain this behaviour and there seems to be a correlation between the new post-config-2025 version of figma.

 

Would appreciate to learn about a solution. Maybe its related to the topic owner here.

I realised what it is - It’s a UI problem on the desktop app, slightly less on browser if it’s large enough.
 

I didn’t realise I had to scroll down and tick “Publish to… Current team” – there’s no visible scrollbar or any indication that the modal is scrollable.


 


For us unfortunately, this is not a problem that is only caused by errors in the UI.

Thank you, bzt no its not a file problem but the complete UI that seems to be bugged for us – as mentioned above.


Same for me. I can publish a template in one workspace, but the button just didn’t work in my other workspace 🤔
