Hi everyone, i cant open my files on the figma app (keeps on loading)  but i can open it on the browser

I understand you can open your files in the browser, but they keep loading in the Figma desktop app.

 

A few quick checks that often fix this:

Force-quit and restart the Figma desktop app.

Confirm your Figma desktop app is up to date and your device meets the system requirements: Guide to the Figma desktop app

Check your network: are you on a VPN, proxy, or behind a firewall? The desktop app will not work behind some firewalls/proxies or with certain VPNs. If that’s the case, try the browser version or ask your IT team to allow outbound access on port 443. More details here: Connection or server error 403

 

If you’ve tried the above and the desktop app still can’t load files, please reply with:

  • Your OS and desktop app version
  • Whether the issue happens for all files or only specific ones
  • Any error messages or screenshots
