FIGMA AGENT

Hi Figma Team,

I'm reaching out because I believe I've encountered the same issue that several other users have recently reported regarding Figma Agent.

I was under the impression that Figma Agent is free to use during the beta. However, I'm now receiving a message stating that I've reached my limit and won't be able to use Figma Agent again until August 1.

From the discussions on the Figma Community, I understand that Figma Agent isn't supposed to consume AI credits during beta, and that this message may instead be related to a separate monthly usage limit. However, the messaging in the product is confusing because it appears to suggest that I've exhausted my AI credits or quota.

Could you please help clarify:

  • Why has my access to Figma Agent been restricted until August 1?

  • Is this an account-specific issue or an intentional monthly usage cap?

  • If this is a beta usage limit, is there any way to have my access restored sooner?

  • Are there plans to make this limitation clearer within the product so users understand the difference between AI credits and the Agent usage limit?

I'm a heavy user of Figma Agent and rely on it extensively for my design workflow, so reaching this limit has significantly disrupted my work.

I'd appreciate it if someone could review my account and let me know whether this is expected behavior or if there's an issue that can be resolved.

Thank you for your time, and I look forward to your response.

Hey @Joshua Maduka — welcome to Figma Forum, and thanks for giving Figma agent a try (and for the detailed writeup)! I'll be sure to share your experience with the product team.

You’re correct that Figma agent is free during the beta and doesn't consume any AI credits, so this message isn't about your AI credit balance — those are indeed separate. What you're seeing is a monthly usage limit for the beta, which helps manage capacity while the feature is free. You'll see an in-product message if you hit it, it resets each month, and it won't affect your credit limits for other AI features.

Regarding your request for an account review, the best path forward for that is with our Product Support team. They can confirm whether what you're seeing is expected behavior for your account. You can reach them by opening a ticket through the Support Hub.

For the latest details on the beta and its limits, these are good to keep an eye on as well:

Hope this helps clarify next steps, and keep me in the loop if any questions remain. 🙏🏻

Hi, thank you for your response and for clarifying the difference between AI credits and the Figma Agent monthly usage limit.

I'll contact the Product Support team through the Support Hub as you suggested.

I have one additional question. Does this mean I simply have to wait until August 1 before I can use Figma Agent again?

Also, is there anywhere in Figma where I can view my current Figma Agent usage or see how much of my monthly limit I've used? Knowing my remaining usage would really help me plan my work and avoid unexpectedly hitting the limit again, as Figma Agent is a key part of my workflow.

Thank you again for your help.

Hey @Joshua Maduka — thanks for the thoughtful followup. Totally understandable that knowing your usage would help you plan around this. I’ve raised your post internally and I’ll be back with more updates as soon as possible. Appreciate your patience.
