First, thanks for adding curved arrows to FigJam—this feature really improves board readability in certain layouts!
However, the arrow ends sometimes appear off depending on their start and end points. Often, they don’t align perpendicularly with the target object (see attached images).
As you can see on the pictures, the arrowheads look reversed as to how it should be depending if it is connected to the top or side of an object.
It would be much better if the arrowheads always stay perpendicular to the edge of the connected object. Please consider this improvement

Hi @Mike_Ramos2,
Thanks for the feedback on curved arrows in FigJam, and for the kind words about the feature! We're glad it's improving board readability for you.
I see in your screenshot that the connector endpoints (the arrowheads) aren't aligning perpendicularly with the side of the object, as you'd expect. I've tried to replicate this behavior on my end, but I haven't been able to see it so far.
I might be misunderstanding the exact steps to reproduce what you're seeing, so could you please share a video recording demonstrating the behavior? Please include your full FigJam screen in the recording.
This will help us understand exactly what you're experiencing and allow us to pass this request to our appropriate team for investigation.
Thanks!
Hi, @Junko3
Thank you for your reply and for looking into it!
I further explored the issue, and identified that indeed, the arrowhead is perpendicular to the edge, but only if the starting point is connected to the edge of an object. If it is loose, or connected to the surface of an object, then the “end” arrowhead is a bit unpredictable.
I don’t think it is a big deal, especially now that I understand the issue better. But often I need to connect arrows to the surface of objects when I want to point to specific elements.
Please check the image for examples. I also attached a video.
Hi @Mike_Ramos2,
Thanks for explaining this so clearly! I've successfully reproduced this on my end.
I'll go ahead and pass this along to our team for them to look into. While we can't promise any specific outcome at the moment, we truly appreciate your help in making our product better!
