Failed to copy as design layers - tried everything

I have a Figma Make project with 3 pages.

2 pages copy fine and I can paste to Figma Design.

One page (home) does not.

  • I have asked AI to simplify it for copying
  • I have made a copy of the file and tried again

I need the design details to move the site to Webflow.

 

Any tips to get this to work?

I understand that you’re having trouble using Copy a Figma Make preview as design layers specifically that one page won’t copy as design layers, while the other pages work fine.

To help narrow this down, could you please try the following steps:

  1. Fully refresh Figma Make.
  2. Wait for the preview to completely load.
  3. Scroll through the entire page you want to copy to ensure all assets (such as images) are fully loaded.
  4. Click Copy Design, then paste into a Figma Design file.

Also, if you’re experiencing the same issue as this community member, you may want to try the suggestion shared in the replies.

 

Please note that at the moment, the Copy Design feature only captures elements that are currently loaded and visible in the preview. Any hidden or off-screen content may not be included.
