I-ve been using a plugin to remove the background of images directly in Figma. After the last update I found out that an option to Remove Background from the Figma UI was there. Fig 1

But after using the Drop Shadow Effect on an image with the background removed using this method, I found out that it is not correctly reading the transparent pixels. Fig 2

I tested the previous plugin I was using to remove the backgrounds and had no issues applying the Drop Shadow Effect. Fig 3

i have the same problem! but i’m not using this plugin. i’m having “drop shadow” problem on all png’s…

FIGMA YOU GUYS NEED TO FIX THIS!

it only started recently because when the feature first came out it was fine

 Can you please check the problem? We haven't been able to work properly for a week, but we have a lot of projects to finish....


Is there any indication of when this problem is going to get solved?
