I wanted to enter several dashes and spaces on a line (“- - - - -”).  Instead, Figma automatically converted the first dash and space into a bulleted list, and refused to allow further dashes and spaces; the only way I could fix it was to enter other characters, then delete them.

This is design software, not a word processor, and I expect all of my input to be respected without interference.  Text fields should be as dumb as possible - their contents is my job, not yours.
