Our team is improving our design system library management and need to cut styles from one library to another so that they stay linked to existing components. We were able to do this last week for our text styles, and now that we’re ready to cut over our effect the option has disappeared. This seems to be a well documented feature, so it seems like there is a bug that has temporarily disabled this. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue, and is there an update on when it will be resolved?

Did the "cut styles" option disappear?

The ability to cut styles is still there, so I can see how this must be slowing down your workflow. I have a few quick questions to help understand what's happening on your end:
- When you right-click the effect styles, is the Cut styles option completely absent, or is it greyed out/un-clickable?
- Are you working directly in the source library file (not a file where the library is just enabled)?
- Have there been any recent changes to your permissions on that file, or is this happening across multiple files for your team?
That said, it may be worth double-checking our Help Center article on moving styles between files to confirm the steps. The option should appear when right-clicking styles in the Design panel of the right sidebar (with nothing selected on the canvas). If you're not seeing it there, that does point to something unexpected on our end. Let me know, and we can continue to troubleshoot this together.

Since the Cut styles option is completely absent despite working in the source library file with the appropriate permissions, I'd like to have the team take a closer look.
