Hi everyone,
I urgently need help because my website built with Figma Make has become completely unusable. It previously worked normally with:
-
a public site
-
a multi-user login system
-
a private staff-only dashboard (internal mission/task management)
-
an admin account to manage everything
Now everything is broken:
-
I cannot log in anymore (including my admin account)
-
the staff dashboard is inaccessible
-
key features that used to work are down, so this is blocking our work completely
The console repeatedly shows (Project ID masked):
❌ Failed to load config TypeError: Failed to fetch ❌ Error fetching profile: TypeError: Failed to fetch ❌ Error fetching stats: TypeError: Failed to fetch ❌ [Supabase] Http: connection closed before message completed at async Object.respondWith (ext:runtime/01_http.js:338:15) ...
I’ve attempted to fix this many times (20+ attempts) using Figma Make’s AI “fix” suggestions, but the errors remain the same and the site does not recover. I don’t have coding knowledge, so I’m stuck.
What I suspect:
It looks like the app can’t fetch its runtime config anymore (“Failed to load config”), and then all Supabase requests fail afterwards.
What I’m asking:
-
What are the most common causes of “Failed to load config / Failed to fetch” in Figma Make projects? (routing/rewrites? preview hosting? CORS? env/config missing?)
-
What are the best next debugging steps to confirm the cause (Network tab checks, specific settings to verify)?
-
If someone from the Figma team can help, this is time-sensitive because we’re locked out of admin and staff tools.
I can share Figma Make project access privately (DM) with a team member/support so you can inspect it directly. I will not post any secrets publicly (keys/tokens).
Thank you — any help ASAP would be appreciated.
