Hello Figma Community and Support Team,
I am an eligible student who has been blocked from accessing the Figma Education plan due to a critical "Verification Limit Exceeded" error from SheerID. I am urgently seeking assistance as my access has been locked for over a week, and I am stuck in a loop between Figma and SheerID support.
My Situation and Evidence:
- Undisputed Eligibility: I was successfully verified twice previously:
- Once with the old Figma system (early 2025).
- Once successfully with SheerID in September 2025. I have attached evidence of this successful SheerID verification in my communication with the support team.
- The Cause of the Block: A necessary email change on my Figma account triggered an immediate re-verification request that failed due to the "Verification Limit Exceeded" error, locking my account.
- Support Deadlock:
- Figma refers me to SheerID for a limit reset.
- SheerID refers me to Figma regarding email policy and auto-responds with a 4-7 day response time, which has passed with no substantive action.
The Core Administrative Error:
- SheerID’s system has an incorrect domain record for my institution (it lists the staff/management domain, not the student one).
- Due to institutional constraints in India, a student-specific email is not provided, making the expected verification path impossible.
- The limit exceeded error prevents me from manually uploading my documents (Fee Receipt, Student ID, etc.) for a manual review.
My Urgent Request for Community/Staff Help:
I am an eligible student locked out by an administrative error. I need internal coordination between Figma and SheerID to manually resolve this.
I urgently request that a Figma staff member or SheerID moderator:
- Manually reset the verification limits tied to my personal information.
- Provide a secure, alternative mechanism for me to submit my official enrollment documents for a manual override and re-approval.
Please help me bypass this automated failure so I can resume my academic work. Thank you for any assistance!
Sincerely,
Pritam Anil Yadav
