Copy Interactions not working properly

Since Friday 16th of July the way I copy paste interactions is not working anymore. I normally would left-click on my noodle and press Ctrl+C and paste it into another object with Ctrl+V. The behavior is erratic, but mostly the whole object gets pasted onto the Frame instead of the interaction.

 

I have already 

  • cleared Desktop Cache
  • tried it in new files
  • tried with other accounts
  • tried on another PC

It’s really annoying for complex prototypes with lots of if/else interactions.

    Hello again! Good news — I touched base with the Technical Quality team, and Engineering has pushed a fix that should resolve this issue. ✅

    If you haven't already, please close and reopen your files. After that, copying interactions should work as expected.

      I am somehow not able to copy interactions inside one specific component.
      The rest of the components and newly made components I am still able to copy paste.
      Very weird...

      I had to somehow completely recreate the interaction and now I am able to copy/paste it normally again.

        Catching up here with a few updates:

        • ​@Iris Hofman — thanks for letting us know, and glad to hear it's working again. If it recurs, please capture what you were doing right before the interactions stopped copying. That detail helps a lot.
        • And ​@Tascha — I checked in with our Technical Quality team after they reviewed the file with you. They'll file an internal report outlining what you ran into with the workflow. I don't have a timeline to share, but we are always iterating base on feedback.
