Copy and pasting designs across files changes component states ramdomly

This is so frustrating. I have never had this issue before with Figma, but I’ve been trying to copy over designs from a past file to my current working file and it changes a bunch of the components to random states. I have triple checked my libraries are all configured correctly (published and linked). All I am trying to do is copy over a previous design into a new file. Please assist!

Please close and reopen Figma for the fix to take effect, then copy and paste any previously affected content again. Let us know if you run into any issues.

We're also experiencing the same problem. When we paste designs from one file to another, the components break, reset, or change size.

Same here! I saw that years ago other people were having this issue on different forums and none of them ever gave an update on what fixed the issue. Hope that it resolves soon because it has been a complete hassle and time waster working with this bug!

If it helps, we noticed that this only happens for our team account, it was not impacting my individual account so it may be some feature flag or something particular to teams.

I've encountered the same issue—when copying components across teams, it works fine in one team but not in another. It was working fine just yesterday, so I hope this can be resolved as soon as possible.
