Question

Charged for a subscription I never signed up for, support has gone silent, and now I am locked out of my files

Samuel Irinyemi

Hello. I need help with an urgent billing and account access issue, and I am hoping someone here can escalate it.
I am on a paid annual plan. Last month I was charged over $400. My only authorized purchase was a one-time AI credit top-up of around $142, which is fine. The problem is the additional recurring monthly AI credit subscription of $240 that I never signed up for. That unauthorized charge shows on Invoice D951C71D-0037.

I have emailed Figma support about this several times over the past few weeks. I have not received a single response. While I was still waiting to hear back, my access was blocked, and now I cannot open or work on any of my files at all.

This is affecting my work. I run a design studio and all of my projects live in Figma, so being locked out has brought everything to a stop.

Could someone please locate my case and escalate it internally? I am happy to share the email registered to my account privately so you can find it. What I need is simple: restore my access, cancel the recurring $240 monthly AI credit subscription I did not authorize, and reverse that charge tied to Invoice D951C71D-0037.

Thank you. I would appreciate a fast response on this.

Hi, @Samuel Irinyemi. Thanks for your post - sounds like you’ve had a frustrating time managing your account billing, not to mention you no longer can access your files.

I created a new ticket for you with our support team and flagged it to help prioritize it with the team. You should get that via email shortly. Can you reply to that with any additional information you feel is relevant? I included a summary of what you said here, but you’re welcome to include more. Thank you for your patience - you should hear back soon!

Hi @adamsmasher, Coming back to close the loop on this. Thank you again for creating the ticket and escalating it for me.

The support team reached out to me by email shortly after, and the issue has now been fully resolved. The unauthorized $240 monthly AI credit charge was removed, a corrected invoice was issued, I have paid the updated amount, and my account access has been restored.

Thanks again for the quick help, Adam. Really appreciated.
