Cannot select text inside example prompt text area in the MCP section

In the right sidebar, in the mcp section, there is an example prompt in a box that looks like this:

 

Implement this design from Figma.
@https://www.figma.com/design/….
 

 

I want to copy the link to it, but I never actually want the words “Implement this design from Figma.”. And you cannot select the text inside partially, only the full text. So the flow makes me copy the whole thing, paste it somewhere, then start deleting the text partially. If you are using a CLI agent, this makes it even more annoying.

Thanks for your post, ​@lnovacki. It’s understandable why you’d find this annoying when you only want to copy part of the provided prompt, as I imagine you have to paste it somewhere else then copy what you want from that.

 

Just to be clear, you’re talking about an example prompt shown on the right side bar in Figma Design when you’re in dev mode, right? What kind of prompt are you writing where you don’t want to include the default text that is included with the link to the layer?
