Hi everyone,

I’m trying to activate my Figma Education account, but whenever I attempt, I receive this error:

"Looks like you've already been approved for this offer."

I’ve followed all the steps multiple times and even tried with different files, but the issue still persists. It seems like my account is stuck in this state, and I can’t actually access the Education benefits.

Has anyone faced this before, and could the Figma team help me resolve it?

I am having exactly the same issue.  I believe I verified my educator status before, probably a few years ago, and now it’s asking me to verify. But when I try to register it says "Looks like you've already been approved for this offer.".

It happens to me too, and I only finish my postgraduate degree at the end of the year. 🤡

I’m following up on open conversations and touching base with the Education team. Here’s the latest:

  • We’ve extended a grace period during the verification review so that your Education project work isn’t disrupted. More details here: Updates to our Figma Education plan.
  • SheerID manages the verification process. While we can’t access additional account details, they have full visibility into your request and now have tools to reset accounts if eligible. You can reach their team directly via this secure form: Contact SheerID support team.
  • In addition, we’ve updated the Troubleshooting section of this article with answers to questions about the verification process: Figma for Education → Troubleshooting verification.
