Hi, after I had been struggle to verify my academic status, contacted SheerID and waiting for response, I was noticed by my university to change my account Email address to my school gmail account. The problem is that since I had already processed my procedure to reverify my status by Sheer ID, I was blocked by Figma system. 

Considering the fact that now I have my account set with my School Email, I ask you to reset my verification record so that I can start the procedure again. Please don’t tell me to contact Sheer ID again because I already have.

I know that this answer will not be what you want to hear, but If you receive a “Verification Limit Exceeded” message, SheerID will have to assist you. They have an improved process for handling these errors, and are best equipped to review your case and advise on next steps. Even if you've contacted them before, their updated system ensures a more efficient resolution. 

Figma (including us, the forum moderators) cannot review documents or confirm individual user eligibility.

When you say you’ve already contacted SheerID, do you mean that you’ve submitted their help form, and are still waiting for a response? If that’s the case, please give them some time to get back to you. Due to higher volume, there are delays in response time.

 


 

One thing that may ease your worries: 

Figma has extended a grace period for students and educators currently reverifying their education status. At this moment, you will not lose access (or you should not have lost access) to your account or files on September 29.
