Can't Verify Student Status

I uploaded exactly same document as other students in the same Class. They all passed and get the status verified except me. I try everything but just get rejected

To point you in the right direction — could you share what type of educational institution you're at? The requirements differ depending on whether it's K-12, higher education, or a bootcamp/online course. This resource has the full breakdown: Figma for Education → Verify your education status.

If this is a higher education account, SheerID manages that verification process from end to end and can provide more visibility into what's happening. You can reach their Figma-specific team directly at figmasupport@sheerid.com for an additional review.

Hi, thanks for reply. I’m from UCI [Higher Education obviously]. I tried every documentations SheerID suggests but just won’t work. These documentations include tuition receipt, class schedule, and school ID. But none of these pass SheerID verification while many other student in same course with same material pass the verification.

Just to clarify, have you already contacted SheerID directly?

Since your UCI peers have been able to get verified, they should be able to assist you too. SheerID support is the best resource to take a closer look at your case. If you have reached out to SheerID and don’t hear back soon, you can try submitting another ticket directly at: figmasupport@sheerid.com 
 

To help expedite the process, some helpful tips that I can provide in the meantime are:

  • Ensure you are logged in and only verify using your school issued email address (not a gmail or a personal email, for example)
  • Clear your cache and ensuring you are not connected to VPN during the verification process
  • If you are asked to submit any documentation, please be sure it includes your full name, university name, and term dates. Unofficial transcripts work well for students.

If you don’t receive the support you need within five business, you can also try looping in Education@figma.com to the email thread to help guide the process. Hope you’re able to get verified soon!
