Can't verify my student plan

I have already completed verification through SheerID successfully, but I still cannot use the Figma Student benefits on my account. At the moment, the student plan does not appear to be activated, even though my verification has been approved. I would appreciate it if you could check my account status and help resolve this issue. Please let me know whether there are any additional steps required from my side.

Hey ​@Chivu, thanks for reaching out!

A couple of things that might be worth double-checking:

  • Education status doesn’t automatically upgrade a team: You’ll need to either upgrade your current team or create a new one under the Education plan. This guide walks through it:

  • Account mismatch: It’s possible the verification was applied to a different Figma account. Make sure you’re logged into the same account you used during the SheerID verification.

If you believe your Education status was applied to the wrong account, you can submit this form and our team will help out. Please note, the Figma team cannot move status from an account associated with educational email address to an account associated with a personal email address.
