My old interface in Figma disappeared. I was always using the old UI, but now for some reason it automatically switched to UI3, and I can’t click the ‘Go back to old UI’ button — I just don’t have that button. What should I do? My account is old, so I don’t think the issue is with the account

Old interface was removed from Figma, there is no way to switch back anymore

Honestly, this is one of the worst decisions Figma has ever made. A company that provides tools for UX/UI design should first and foremost care about user experience. Forcing people — many of whom have worked for years in the old interface — to switch to a new one without any choice is just unacceptable. It’s not just inconvenient — it feels like a slap in the face to loyal users.

UX isn’t just about being “new and modern,” it’s about adaptability, habits, and comfort. Instead of gradually introducing the new UI and allowing time to adjust, you completely cut off access to the old one. This decision is anti-user and seriously damages Figma’s credibility as a platform that supposedly understands the value of good UX.
