Can't move file from draft to project

I am an admin of a team, Figma won’t let me import a file into a project in the team (I’m owner) and it won’t let me move the file from the draft

Hey ​@GeorgesDa , thanks for reaching out in the Figma Forum!  Can you clarify what error message you're seeing (if any) and what file format you're trying to import? Please also make sure you have "can edit" access to the project.

Also, a few things worth checking:

  • Plan limitations: If you are in the the free Starter plan, there are the following limitations:
    • 3 total Figma Design and Figma Sites files in a project
    • 3 files per each for FigJam and Figma Slides.
      If you've reached that limit, you won't be able to move or import additional files into the team space.
  • Try using a different browser or an incognito window and attempt the import again to see if that helps

If none of these apply and the issue persists, I'd recommend submitting a bug report so our team can investigate further. Go to the Support Hub / type "Report a bug" / click Start a chat and include the URL of the affected file so our team can take a closer look at it 🙏
