Can´t log in with my education email adress

I understand that you’re trying to update your account email address to your university email so you can reverify as an Educator, but you’re running into issues when attempting to do so.

I checked on our end and can see that your account has already been verified through SheerID.

If you’d like to change the email address associated with a verified Education account, these requests are handled by our Education team.

You can submit a request by completing the following form: Request to Move Figma EDU Status

Requests are reviewed in the order they’re received, and the typical response time is up to 5 business days.

Please note that your Education status is tied to the email address you originally verified with. If you update the email address on your Figma account on your own after verification, your Education status will be revoked.

Based on the behavior you described, it also sounds like you may be using Google SSO to log in. If your account is managed through Google SSO, you won’t be able to change the email address directly within Figma.

If you’d like to switch from Google SSO to an email-and-password login, you’ll need to remove Google SSO by setting a new account password. This will allow you to log in with an email and password and then update the email address on the account.

Please be aware that following the steps below will revoke your verified Education status.

Thanks a lot!! I will fill the form.

But, what happens if my educational email isn't attached to an account yet? Can I still put it in the "Email  on account where Figma status is needed" field?

And, can I still use that form if I'm changing from Gmail to an outlook email? (Just to be sure I understood!)

Thanks so much for following up! I may have misunderstood your situation earlier, but I now understand that you don’t yet have a Figma account associated with your school-issued email address.
