I’ve been trying to verify my student status for Figma Education Plan through SheerID, but I have had many problems: at first, when I sent the file for the first time (in Italian), they told me they would have had responded in less than 24 hours, but this didn’t happen. So, I resent another form (with the same document), because I thought it was an error, but even in that they didn’t respond.
I sent an email to SheerID support, and they told me: “we are unable to verify your status at this time”
So, I tried to send another documents in SheerID, but I received this error: “Verification limit exceeded”.
I tried to contact figma support through a form, attaching some of my school’s subscription files, but it answered Fig, telling me to “to work directly with the SheerID support team at figmasupport@sheerid.com rather than trying to resubmit multiple times.”.
So, I sent another email to SheerID, and I received the same message by the same person: “we are unable to verify your status at this time”.
My school (IAAD, Italy) provides official student email IDs — I’m writing with my school account. My other classmates didn’t have any of these problems, and so I’m feeling like a banned person: my Figma files are locked, I can’t continue my classes and I can’t work with my group mates.
I’d really like if someone from the Figma team could help me reset my verification or doing something else to let me use Figma for Students.
