Can't create a new account with work email

Hello, I tried to create a new account with my job email address, when the project owner sent to me the share link to a project.
Never received any confirmation email from you on that email address, nor I am be able to reset the password because I don’t receive emails from you.

Today I just got a reminder on the job email address account (that I could not confirm nor change the password) that I still did not opened the project (guess why… -.-)

I thought the problem could be that I already have an account.
Then saw this topic → 

And it really seems a similar issue

Can you shed some light please?

Hi ​@graffiti dm,

 

I understand you already have a Figma account associated with your work email and are unable to create a new account using that same email.

 

It looks like the linked post was resolved by creating a separate team under the same account. If you want to create a separate team on your existing account, you can do that by:

  1. Signing in to your Figma account

  2. Clicking the dropdown next to your team name

  3. Selecting + Create new and following the prompts to create a team and choose a plan

You might already know this, but if you received an invitation to a file or project at your existing account email, click “Open in Figma” to accept the invitation and open the file.
