Hi. I made my portfolio super fast with Figma prototype because I cannot miss time to showcase my work experience to recruiters.
I made the figma portfolio with desktop size because i cannot make it adaptable with figma prototype. When I first tested on mobile, it worked properly for navigation tabs to switch to other tabs of my resume, contact etc. Now, I notice that the desktop navigation buttons work properly, but on mobile I see no interaction. Nothings happens when i click buttons. But why? I really need my portfolio for job application until I have my second portfolio is ready.

Hi, @Setareh Borhani 👋 Sorry to hear about this challenge. Can you grab a quick screen recording opening the prototype and tapping some of the nav buttons so we can see exactly where it stops responding?

A couple of quick questions:

  • How are you opening it on mobile — the Figma mobile app, a mobile browser, or a shared/published prototype link?
  • Does the prototype fully finish loading before you tap, and is anything new (frames, images, more linked pages) added since it last worked on mobile?

One thing worth checking: desktop-sized prototypes load every frame up front, and phones have a lot less memory to work with, so a larger file can sometimes stop responding on mobile while it's fine on desktop. This guide on reducing memory usage is a good reference either way: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/360040528173-Reduce-memory-usage-in-files

Thanks for the additional information. — Jaycee
