There are bugs in the Figma prototype that cause it to frequently malfunction. We often have to reload the prototype to trigger click events properly, and comments sometimes appear in incorrect or inconsistent positions.

Just to narrow things down a bit:

Are you seeing this happen in the browser, the desktop app, or both?

Does the problem only affect one specific file, or are you noticing it across multiple prototypes?

When it comes to the comment behaviour, do they seem to shift randomly when refreshing the file, or is the content on the file being moved and the comments are not attaching?

Have you had a chance to try resetting Figma or restarting the app to see if that helps?
If you're able to share a short screen recording showing the behaviour, that would be incredibly helpful. And if you're comfortable sharing the prototype link, Iād be happy to test it out on my end as well.
