[Bug] Unexpected Vector Glitch (changes on width/height and position) in Figma Motion

Figma Motion has shape glitches when I add key frames to a specific shape.
I have multiple rectangle shapes in my frame. I selected a shape and tried to add width key frame on figma motion. It turned out the other shapes get glitched and their width/height changes and it’s position has been changed as well. The selected shape remains the same, but the other shapes gets glitched and transformed.

Hey @Rishikeshprem, thanks so much for flagging this!

I understand how this must be disrupting your workflow, so I appreciate you taking the time to write it up. A few questions so we can pin down what's happening:

Are any of the affected rectangles inside a group, nested frame, or component instance? We've seen a few cases where nesting is the common thread.
Do the other shapes stay glitched after you undo the keyframe, or do they snap back?
Does the glitch persist if you toggle out to Design mode and back into Motion?
Are you on desktop or browser, and could you share a URL link to the file (or a copy of it) plus a short screen recording? That's usually the fastest way for the team to reproduce it.

In the meantime, one thing worth trying: check whether the affected shapes have an anchor point set (Option/Alt + R). We changed how anchor points and transforms work in Motion earlier this year, and layers created before that update can sometimes behave unexpectedly when new keyframes are added nearby.

Once we have the file and a bit more detail, we'll get this in front of the Motion team to investigate further. Thanks again!

Thanks for the reply, Djv.

- The rectangles/shapes were inside a group. I tried ungrouping to see if it would help, but the glitch persists. Grouping itself seems to cause issues at times as well. Eventually, undoing or moving the elements into a new frame temporarily resolves it.
- Yes, after undoing, the shapes snaps back to their previous form.
- Yes, toggling back to Design mode restores the correct form, but switching back to Motion triggers the glitch again.
- I was using the desktop app initially, but I tested it in the browser as well and experienced the same issue.

I have put it in a new file and shared the link below and attached the screen recording of it.
In that screen recording, the shapes will be in a group. In the file, i have removed the group.

Before this issue occurred, I combined all 5 rectangles into a single shape and flattened it, then separated them back out to animate each one individually. I’m not sure if that workflow triggered the glitch, but it still shouldn’t be behaving this way.
