[bug] The Apple logo is 'off' on the Figma desktop app

I'm not sure why, but the Figma desktop version on macOS has a bug where the Apple logo in the top left corner isn't properly placed. It is placed more to the right than any other app. When using the app switcher (cmd-Tab) this is very visible - and frankly quite annoying. I’m using Figma Desktop App version 126.2.10 on macOS 26.4 (Tahoe) on a 14” MacBook Pro (Apple M4 Pro). This bug is already there for quite some time.

Hi @Jasper_Van_Proeyen, thanks for flagging this!

I can completely understand how the misalignment of the Apple logo could become a distraction. Are you able to share a screenshot of what you’re seeing?

I’m also using the desktop app on a macOS device, but I’m not seeing what you’ve described. With the visual, I should be able to flag this over to the team to investigate.

Hi @djv, thanks for the quick reply! I’ve attached a screen recording demonstrating the problem. Maybe this could have something to do with my (14”) screen not being large enough to fit all the Figma menus to the left side of the notch.

Hey @Jasper_Van_Proeyen! Stepping in for @djv.

Thank you for the screen recording; that is pretty weird!

I have a 14” MacBook Pro and tried the same steps as you with switching apps but I didn’t see the shift in your video. What version of Mac OS are you running? Maybe this is specific certain versions. I’m running Mac OS Tahoe 26.4 (which reminds me there is a Mac OS update to install...).

Out of curiosity, is it only the Figma app you see this with, or is there another app where you see it shift?
