This has been talked on Reddit and on here. I am glad I wasn’t going insane. This is the strangest decision anyone could ever make regarding those tabs. In what world did someone think having assets selected as default section was a good thing XD. Then again it does seem like a bug as with other reporters the File tab seems to be selected at first but then suddenly quickly changes automatically to assets, without user input…. and if that is possible, what else can happen without user input?

I’m having the same issue -- extremely annoying. If it’s a bug: fix it please. If this is an A/B test of some kind: just turn off the test; and if you really want to test this again, then add a feature so users can decide which tab should be shown first.

I’m having the same issue. Please help fix this terrible issue. Thanks.

Thought I was going mad. Happening to me too. Using Helium (Chromium-based) on macOS.

I find that if I remove the three pre-added libraries (why they were added to ALL files, I may never know), then it stops doing this. It’s almost like the libraries got added, and now they’re like “pick me, pick me!” 🫠
