Thanks, @Denise Chow - when you have a moment, please share the file link with me here or via DM, and I’ll pass it along to the team for further investigation 🙏

We also have the same issue again (still). As soon as something is in a Slot, multiplayer is broken.

@Celyn_L Any updates on this? It seems to be exactly the same issue as before (no point in waiting for examples I think, it’s the same issue).

Hi @Ben_Smeets, thanks for following up - I'm sorry to hear you're running into this again.

I've shared this with the team so they're aware that users are still encountering this behavior.

I've gone ahead and created a support ticket for you so the team can take a closer look and investigate further. Your ticket number is #1938977.

When you have a moment, it would be really helpful if you could reply directly to the ticket with a link to the impacted file and invite support-share@figma.com with Can View access. This won't affect your billing and will allow us to reproduce the issue and work with Engineering on a deeper investigation.

Thanks again for taking the time to flag this. Someone from the team will be reaching out with next steps shortly.

I have a similar or maybe even the same issue reported here:

Hey @Anne Müller, thanks for flagging this. I’ve followed up on your original post. Please take a look when you have a moment.

This is still an issue for me and my team. Sometimes components are not rendering correctly and it seems to be intermittent. Meaning, that one person can view the file and see things as intended while another user sees things jumbled. In my experience, when I first share my approved designs, everything looks right. But another day, they’re all jumbled. This has been a big issue for my design reviews - my clients can’t give feedback or sign off on jumbled layouts. And even worse, developers have started implementing based on these glitches and they show up in our product.

Like others, I can usually click into the component instance and everything resets. Although lately sometimes that doesn’t even work.

This is definitely NOT limited to components with slots.

Also, please don’t ask for access to my files. My client would never allow it due to NDAs and such.

Hi @Melissa Kovach, thanks for taking the time to share these additional details.

From your description, it sounds like different people can see the same file render differently, with component instances occasionally appearing jumbled until they’re selected or refreshed.

I also completely understand your concern around sharing files due to client confidentiality and NDA requirements. That said, I’ve gone ahead and created a support ticket for you so the team can work with you directly to investigate further. Your ticket number is #1978890.

Please keep an eye on your inbox for the next steps. Thanks!

FYI, the issue still persists on our end as well. Not 100% reproducable. But the effect is common. Non updating components that use slots, until you click and select something inside the slot and/or need to copy paste the component (and/or user A seeing something completely different than user B).

I hate to be the negative guy, but it feels like slots is going the Figma way of “almost… but no updates the next couple of years”…. shame.
