Broken Ctrl + L in Beta

When do you plan to fix the broken Ctrl+L in Figma Beta? Instead of linking to the frame, it copies the link to the page. Come on, this has been going on for about two months.

Hey there, thank you for flagging this, this looks definitely odd as it’s not working for two months! I tested Cmd+L on Figma Beta (Mac) and it's working as expected on my end, so this may be specific to your OS, setup, or file. Could you confirm whether you're seeing this on Mac or Windows, and also try Command+L if you haven't already? And is it happening in a specific file or any files?

A couple of things to try first to see if that helps :

  • Force-quit the app and restart
  • Make sure you're on the latest Beta build, You can download here.

If it's still happening after that, please submit a support request so we can dig into your specific setup.To do that: Go to the Support Hub / Type “Report a bug” / Click Start a chat and select Enter and follow the prompts. In the form, include your OS spec, a screen recording showing the full window when it happens, a URL of your file if it happens to a specific file and grant "Can View" access with support-share@figma.com. This allows us to reproduce the issue and investigate, thanks!
