Branching seems to be broken in latest release?

Figma branching seems to be glitching / broken?

The problem:

• Opening a branch from a file
• the original / main branch is then unresponsive
• Space bar / hand stope working - when you press space bar, it just opens the Branch Modal
• Can’t CUT or COPY
• If on the odd Occassion it does work, it takes forever to CUT
  • Have tried Cut from the Menu’s and not just CMD X

Solutions tried and that seem to not solve:

• Restarting mac 
• Have tried across files - same issue, so it’s not a corrupt file seemingly
