Billing Still Continues despite my request for Downgrade

Dear [Support/Sales Team],

 

I’m writing to express my concern and frustration regarding the Organization Plan tied to my account.

 sent an email requesting to downgrade the plan and reduce the number of seats as we no longer needed them. However, despite that request, I just received a new invoice charging for all seats, including those we no longer use.

 I previously encountered unexpected charges for additional seats that were never intentionally added. There seems to be no clear way to cancel or manage the subscription directly from the dashboard, which makes the process even more frustrating.

I would appreciate a prompt and clear resolution to this issue, including a review of the charges and confirmation that the plan will not be renewed again without my consent.

Hi! I haven’t used my Figma account for a month and the cancel plan button is not showing on  my end. Can you cancel it manually on your end? Thanks!

Thanks for sharing out and for sharing the context, I understand that you’re looking to cancel your plan.

Since billing and payment issues involve account-specific details, we’re not able to review them directly here in the Community Forum.

That said, I was able to locate your support ticket (#1826702) and have escalated it internally so the team can take a closer look.

In the meantime, I wanted to share a bit more context that may help clarify some of your concerns:

Seats are purchased for the duration of your billing term. Before your next renewal date, you’ll have the chance to remove any unused seats from your account from your Billing overview page.

If you need to remove a user’s access prior to your next renewal, you can either:

  • Change their seat to the free View seat, which provides only view and comment across Figma products
  • Remove the user from the organization

In both scenarios, their previous seat is made available for someone else to use for the remainder of the subscription period.

For annual plans, about 30 days before your renewal date, you’ll see a Review seats banner in the Admin dashboard where you can update your seat count for the next term.
