There is no item Clear Cache in section Troubleshooting
Did the cleanup you mentioned, also uninstalled the desktop app completely and reinstalled. The problem remains. Today opened the same design layout and emoji are visible, although I did not do any other actions.
Also encountered a problem with currency symbols disappearing in some fonts that have them. For example, this happens regularly with the ruble sign ₽ and the Neuland Grotesk font. The ruble sign ₽ can disappear while editing a line, or it can disappear when you open the layout again. I don't see the exact pattern that causes the disappearance.
Apologies, the “Clear Cache” option is now called Reset Figma and Restart. You can find it under: Help > Troubleshooting > Reset Figma and Restart.
I’m glad to hear the emojis are currently visible again in the desktop app, but since the ruble sign ₽ is still disappearing in certain fonts like Neuland Grotesk, it may be related to the font itself.
