AI “Replace content” breaks component layout and prototype rendering (possible RTL issue)

When I use the AI “Replace Text” feature in Figma, the generated content replaces my text correctly, but it causes serious issues in my components and prototypes.

Design is normal
Prototype is damage

What happens:

  • Text, icons, and overall component layout become distorted
  • Elements appear misaligned and “fragmented” (almost pixelated or broken into uneven spacing)
  • The entire component loses its visual consistency
  • The issue persists and cannot be easily fixed manually:

This significantly degrades the quality of my prototypes and makes them look visually broken and unprofessional.

  • This might be related to RTL languages (Persian/Arabic), although I’m not 100% sure
  • I’ve encountered this issue multiple times
  • It seems to affect both text rendering and auto-layout behavior

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a component with text and icons (using Auto Layout)
  2. Use AI “Replace Text” on a text layer
  3. Apply the suggested/generated content
  4. Observe layout and rendering issues in the component and prototype

Expected behavior:
Text should be replaced without affecting layout integrity, spacing, or rendering quality.
